‘Araluen’ 38kms north of Dingo in central Queensland. Araluen covers some 2875ha (7100 ac) of developed brigalow country, consisting of Buffel pastures and hosting the stud breeding herd and bull development programme.

‘Namoi’ is located 11kms south of Dingo, covering 2023ha (5000 ac) of light forest country with native pastures and legumes, is the home for heifer development and maiden heifer joining.

‘Glendarra’ is 26kms south of Dingo, covering 5260ha (13,000 ac) of light forest country with native pastures and legumes, along with forestry lease running into the Dawson Range and is the home of the Triple B commercial Brangus herd.

Currently the operation joins around 1200 females annually, utilizing a large percentage of bulls from the Triple B programme. These females are joined via AI and natural mating’s and are pregnancy tested annually and culled on fertility.

We take pride in the management process which shows in our 5 Star rating, for performance recording with BREEDPLAN. We have been objectively recording for over 25 years. All information is recorded via live entry at the cattle yards on HerdMaster software to promote accuracy and efficiency to eliminate any errors due to double handling. This is particularly important with the collection of TSU samples for DNA and Genomics applications.

There is now over two decades of data behind the Triple B product and it’s one of the most comprehensively recorded Brangus herds in the breed and on Brangus Group BreedPlan.

The top 80 bulls are selected and marketed as rising two-year-olds, at our ‘On-Property Sale’ held annually in late September/early October. Accompanying these bulls at auction is a line of purebred commercial heifers.
